Oregano Tea: Transform Your Life

Oregano Tea: Transform Your Life

Are you feeling bloated, constipated, or experiencing stomach heaviness? Do you suffer from painful menstrual periods, frequent colds, or sinusitis?

If you answered YES to several of these symptoms, this Oregano Tea recipe will be your best ally. It's rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K, contains minerals like iron, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium, and also has analgesic properties.

Preparing this infusion is super simple; you only need:

  • 1 cup of hot water.
  • Add 5 oregano leaves, or you can use it dried—in which case you should add 2 tablespoons.
  • While this drink has great health benefits, it has a bitter taste, so I recommend adding one or two drops of my "Sweeten Your Soul" sweetener. It's a pure stevia extract, totally natural, does not cause inflammation, does not alter blood glucose levels, does not leave a bitter taste in your drinks, contains no calories or preservatives, and is ideal for diabetics, children, pregnant women, people on a diet, or anyone who, like me, cares about their health: Discover it here.

I suggest consuming this infusion twice a day for 15 days, then take a break and alternate with another medicinal plant. You can resume after two weeks.

Other uses of oregano:

Oregano is also very useful in steam inhalations when you have a cold, cough, congestion, or sinusitis. It will be your great ally as a natural decongestant and anti-inflammatory.

For the steam inhalation, you only need to:

  • Boil water in a pot.
  • Add several leaves of oregano.

Let the water simmer with the leaves for 15 minutes and proceed to do your steam inhalations by placing a towel over your head and deeply breathing in the steam that emanates from the pot.
Be careful not to burn yourself.

If you would like to have this medicinal plant at home, keep in mind:

  • It's a plant that likes to be moist but not waterlogged.
  • If the climate is warm where you keep this plant, you can water it once a week.
  • Watering will depend on the climate where you live; if it's very hot, I suggest checking it frequently to know if it needs watering more than once a week.
  • Every month, make sure to add organic soil, which will help it grow.

And to enjoy good health, remember:
Set aside refined sugar and sweeten your life guilt-free with my "Sweeten Your Soul"!
